OmeTV filter extension: setup guide
ChoosyChat is a free OmeTV filter extension for Chrome. It adds the filter OmeTV doesn't have: you pick who you want to talk to, and it presses Next for you until that person shows up.
Does OmeTV have its own gender filter?
No. OmeTV's own FAQ says it does not offer girls-only or guys-only chats. The gender you choose on OmeTV is only your own gender. It does not decide who you meet. In OmeTV's words: “it's all random”.
That is why so many people search for an OmeTV gender filter. ChoosyChat is one.
How the filter works
- When a new person connects, it looks at their camera.
- If it's not who you want, it presses Next for you.
- If it is, it stops and plays a short sound.
- Everything happens on your computer. Nothing is uploaded.

Tips for the best results
- Chat in the evening or on weekends, when more people are online.
- Use “Careful” mode if it skips someone by mistake.
- Turn on “Solo chats only” to also skip groups.
- Press Keep on the box if you want to stay with someone.
What it can't do
It can't bring more girls or guys online. It only skips the people you don't want, so you reach the right ones faster. It also makes mistakes sometimes, especially in dark rooms or with face filters.
